New Goodwill Store on Route 73
Goodwill Industries aims to transform a closed Rite Aid Pharmacy on Route 73 in Voorhees into a retail thrift shop and donation center, according to a Township Planning Board application set to be reviewed this month. Nonprofit Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ and Philadelphia Inc., based in Maple Shade, filed the application in April with Voorhees. The property at 111 Route 73, where Rite Aid closed last year, is owned by SP Lakeview LLC, a unit of Scarborough Properties of Marmora, Cape May County. The plan is scheduled for the board’s August 14 meeting agenda, which begins with a caucus at 7 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7:30 p.m., at the Township offices located at 2400 Voorhees Town Center.
